Staff Bios
Murray Davidson started working with his father in 1970. Since 1982, he and his wife Deborah have owned and operated Davidson Hearing Aid Centre Ltd. Murray is a Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 38 years experience fitting hearing aids and has successfully fitted thousands of satisfied clients.
Robbie Davidson is Murray's son and is the third generation Davidson working with hearing aids. Robbie started working part time in 1999 while he was attending Ottawa University. In 2006 he graduated from the University of British Colombia with a Masters degree in Audiology and now works in our Ottawa and Renfrew offices.
David Cox is Murray's nephew. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Masters degree in Audiology. David joined us in 1999, providing Audiological services in both our Ottawa and Pembroke offices.
Rob Meagher is a Hearing Instrument Specialist who started working for us in 1986. Rob has been wearing hearing aids himself since he was 5 years old and knows personally the importance of wearing hearing aids that are properly fitted. Rob works in the Ottawa-Cornwall corridor and has two weekly clinics in Cornwall, as well as monthly clinics in Winchester and Alexandria. He also does house calls for those patients who cannot come into one of our offices.
Karen Martel is a Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 28 years of experience. Karen started her career with a hearing aid manufacturer. As well as testing hearing and fitting hearing aids, Karen also repairs and modifies many of our patient's hearing aids right in our office. This is an invaluable service, saving you from being without your hearing aid. Karen has been working with us since 1995 and is now working full time in our new office in Bells Corners.
Debbie Meagher is our receptionist at the front desk. The wife of Rob, she is well versed at dealing with hearing aids.
Andrea Gorsky works as our receptionist and will likely answer your phone call and help you arrange an appointment.
